As the District Director, Butch Charles serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for all Royal Ranger outposts within the Arkansas District. He is responsible for coordinating and promoting the Royal Ranger Ministry within the district. Butch began his Royal Ranger ministry at First Assembly of God in Haysville, Kansas in the late 1970’s. Butch and his wife Ginger, and two sons, Jason and Kent, moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas in October of 1980 to take a job at Calvert McBride Printing as a Lithographic Cameraman. In April of 1981, they moved to Greenwood and felt lead to attend First Assembly of God in Booneville (Outpost #99), where he has served in all leadership positions at the local outpost level as well as Senior Commander. Butch completed the National Training Camp (NTC) in 1987, National Staff School in 1988. He completed the Buckaroo Straight Arrow Training Conference (BSTC) in 1996, National Urban Leaders Conference (NULC) in 1999, Advanced National Training Camp (ANTC) in 2001, Ranger Essentials and World Class Outpost (WCO) in 2006. He has served on staff at NTC, BSTC, NULC, NCE, and OMRA as well as an instructor at WCO. Butch has served as a Certified Instructor since 1989 and Instructor Trainer since 1998. He has earned the Blue, Red and Gold Leaders Medal of Achievement, the Advanced Level of the Outpost Leader Advancement Levels (OLAL), as well as the Silver Eagle Award, District and National Outstanding Service awards. He was initiated into the Frontiersman Camping Fraternity (FCF) in 1987 as a Frontiersman, became a Buckskin member in 1989, Wilderness member in 1991 and has advanced to Free Trapper #43. He also served as FCF Scribe from 1991-1998. He is a member of the National Royal Ranger Council and has served as District Commander since 1998. Butch and Ginger still attend First Assembly of God in Booneville where he has served as Deacon for most of those years. Their family has increased with the addition two granddaughters. He still works at Calvert McBride Printing as the Plant Manager. Ginger has been a Ranger Kids Commander since 2003; she has also served on staff at NULC and OMRA and can be seen working right along Butch’s side as much as possible and even more behind the scene.

As the Deputy District Director Norman is responsible for assisting the District Director in coordinating and promoting the Royal Ranger Ministry within the District. He became involved in the ministry in 1978, finished the LTC in 1979, and completed NTC in 1980. He became a member of FCF in 1980. He has served as Area Commander, Sectional Commander, and Deputy District Training Coordinator. He has served on staff at OMRA, NTC, ANTC and NCE. His training includes National Academy (Phase II), National Advanced Academy, WCO, NTC, ICS, Turning Point and he is currently certified as an Instructor Trainer for the Rangers Ministry Academy. He currently serves on Outpost Committee in his local outpost and serves as a member of National Royal Ranger Council. He and his wife live in Harrison where he operates a construction company.

As the Arkansas District Training Coordinator, George is responsible for coordinating the training for the Royal Rangers ministry in the state of Arkansas. George is the Central Area Commander of Section 15 and Outpost Coordinator of Outpost 68 at First Assembly of God North Little Rock Arkansas. He became involved in the Royal Ranger ministry in 1989 in Wichita Kansas. When he moved to Camp Springs Maryland in 1995 he continued to help with Royal Rangers. After moving to North Little Rock Arkansas in 1998 he finished the Leadership Training Course in 1999. George completed the National Training Camp (NTC) in 2002. He completed the Advanced National Training Camp (ANTC) and became certified as an instructor in 2003. He then completed the Ranger Kids Training Camp and the National Training Trails in 2004. George graduated from the National Academy in 2007 and became an Instructor Trainer in 2008. He completed the Winter National Training Camp in 2010. He has served on staff at NTC, ANTC, National Canoe Expedition, and National Ranger Ministry Camp. He became a nationally certified Instructor Trainer in 2011. He served several years as the Camp Commander for the Adventure Training Camp. He has served as the Camp commander of the Action Canoe Expedition. He has served as the Academy Commander for the Ouachita Mountain Ranger Academy. He became a member of FCF in 2002. George retired from the United States Air Force in December 1998. He is the Husband of Jody, the Father of Shawn (born in April 1979), Melissa (born in Sep 1981), Tony (born in Aug 1988), Hope (born in Jan 2007), and Luke (born in Oct 2008). He is the Grandfather of McKenzie, Bella, Payton, Arianna, Emma, and Michaela. He is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Regional Detoxification Specialist, Co-occurring Disorders Professional, and Internationally Certified Clinical Supervisor. He is the Director of Crisis Residential Services for Little Rock Community Mental Health Center, Inc. George helps with Junior Bible Quiz. He is a Church Usher and is on the security team for his church. George serves as the President of the “Arkansas Substance Abuse Certification Board” of which he has served as Treasurer. He is also the Vise-President of the Arkansas Substance Abuse treatment Providers Association. As well he is the Chaplin for the “Neighbors United for Levy” neighborhood group, of which he has served as President and Vise-President.

Vince Vire is from Bald Knob, Arkansas where he lives with his wife Terry and two children Faith and Joel. Vince is a member of the Bald Knob Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Citizens State Bank Grill Team. He has a Bachelor of Science in Church Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Management with a focus in Organizational Leadership from Kaplan University. Vince has been involved in Royal Rangers in many capacities down through the years. He grew up in Rangers and earned his Gold Medal of Achievement as well as District Ranger of the Year and the Medal of Valor. Vince served as the Quapaw Chapter Scout and as the Rivermen Territorial Scout. After turning 18, he earned his Leader's Medal of Achievement and entered full time ministry after college. Vince has completed NTC and ANTC as well as WCO. He has earned the Advanced Outpost Level Leader's Award and has also earned the Gold Level Award in the Organizational Level Leaders Track. He is also a Wilderness member in FCF, a Free Trapper in the Trapper's Brigade, and has earned the Bronze Pathfinder Award. Along with being the FCF President, Vince also serves on the Training Committee and as a member of the Royal Rangers National Council. Vince received his calling into full time ministry during a Ranger event. During a Tennessee District Pow-Wow, Rev. Mark Gentry challenged the Rangers to be open to God's plan for their lives. That was the night that Vince felt God's call. He is now an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God and has served as a Youth Pastor and as a Senior Pastor. Vince now serves as Associate/Youth Pastor at Bald Knob First Assembly of God where he is also the Discovery Ranger Leader.
